Pop Warner Football Sign Ups

Pop Warner is a nationwide youth football and cheerleading organization. Pop Warner football has been around since the inception of the league in 1929 by founder Joseph J. Tomlin as a four team conference in Northeast Philadelphia. Since then, participation has steadily increased to today’s record numbers. Over 260,000 youngsters participated in Pop Warner sanctioned programs in 2006.

The mission of Pop Warner is to enable children to benefit from participation in team sports and activities in a safe and structured environment. Through this active participation, Pop Warner programs teach fundamental values, skills and knowledge that children will use throughout their lives.

Children must be present at registration and also need to bring to registration their last quarter report card, birth certificate, photo, and proof of a physical. Football participants compete with kids of similar age and size. Pop Warner is the ONLY youth football program (local, regional, and national) that sets and enforces a strict Age and Weight matrix that reduces the risk of injuries.
