Home Business Success: You Have to Play Big to Win Big !

If you had the opportunity to start a home based business for less than $100, and after 2 years your checks would start to approach $2k a month after you’d brought around 2,000 people into your organization; or you could start a business with something just over $1,000 in startup costs, but within a few months of starting you would start receiving checks in the area of $100k with just over 20 people on your team, which home based business would you choose to get started in…?

This was the scenario I found myself looking at during a recent phone call I had with a prospect. At one point in the conversation, this person began telling me with a certain sense of pride how they had been with their company for a couple of years and were now beginning to see their monthly checks reaching the $2,000 level each month. Happy for them, I asked how many people they had in their organization. I was surprised when they told me they had just over 2,000 people in their group. I knew from what they told me that they were action oriented, persistent, and committed, all desirable qualities and traits that I look for in people who work with me.

As our discussion continued, they expressed how they were happy with their business and proud of how they had persevered and grown their organization so large. Soon after this they explained that they had only called out of curiosity to "see what else was out there". However, they simply continued telling me how happy they were where they were at, and with the income they were making, and that they really didn’t have a desire to do anything else.

It was easy to see that they were actually hoping to impress me with their "success" and were hoping to recruit me into their organization using what is called the "reverse marketing" technique. Instead, I simply wished them continued success and suggested that they keep my information handy and to go ahead and call me in the future if they ever found themselves in a situation where they wanted to do something that might be more rewarding, both in terms of products and in the amount of income they could receive from their efforts.

After we hung up, I found myself wondering how they would have felt had they had found out that in a different business they would have made over $100k in a month with just over 20 people in their organization for the same effort they were already putting out, or that an income of $175k a month was possible with less than 30 people in their organization.

For individuals like this, the slightly higher startup costs involved would stop them from even getting started, but it would also keep them from receiving the much more substantial rewards as well. The common thinking that somehow a lot of people all playing small will some how produce a big win simply doesn’t work. In the home based business arena, as in any area of life, you have to play big if you want to win big and enjoy success on a level that others only dream about. Credit to : Glenn M. Eades

How To Be Successful In Your Life

Look at the man over there, he is so successful, he has all the money in the world. We may look at others and wonder how they are living such a successful life, while you may be struggling. It doesn't have to be that way, and you can become successful in your own life.

There is an easy way, and a hard way. The easy way does not lead to success, while the hard way can only ever bring you to a better place than where you find yourself. Though it is hard, it will take the same time as the easy way! Though it will likely give you many more happy years, possibly extending your life.

If you can get out of your bed in the morning, and say 'it is a great day'. When you simply can't wait to get started on your day - that is a successful day. To live a successful life, you need to live a successful day.

Though that example may sound like a day, when you are about to go on vacation, there are many people who live like that, yes, even on a Monday morning! So, what can make you be like that?

Passion possibly? For passion to exist, it will need doing something you like. What would you love to do? Who would you love to be? What would you love to have in your life? This is no easy route, a look at the big stars in the world, is a great inspiration.

For every successful musician, actor or entrepreneur, we find that it was not easy in the beginning. There were major challenges in there lives. However, they continued, even through the hard times.

Strangely enough as they persisted, there came a point, where things got easier. They were achieving and succeeding with less effort. The journey happened because they did what they loved.

By doing what you love, you will find that each day becomes a joy. If you can live more days in a week with passion, then you will have a successful week, a successful month, year, decade, and ultimately a successful life.

We all can define success in many different ways. However, all of success comes down to our happiness factor. If you living in pain, then there is no way you can say you have had a stress free life. Likewise to be successful in life, we have to take the actions which we feel passionate about.

This does not mean the type of false thoughts of welfare, where some may view it as an easy life. That is a false life, which does not give all of what life has to offer. Doing what you love is a way to get financially free, because you are doing what you love.

Think about Bill Gates, his love of computers has enabled him to follow his passion and succeed, in a very big way. Richard Branson, another legendary figure. A man who has built many businesses, because of his love for the adventure in a venture.

How to Get a Girl to Have Sex with You

Without this powerful tool, even the most attractive men won't be able to take women home - seduction. The average-looking man who knows how to seduce a woman will win every time over an extremely attractive man who doesn't know how. It is important that you know how to seduce, once you do, you'll have the luxury of asking, 'My place or your?'

When attracting a woman, it is important that you bring seduction to seal the deal. Just by having great looks will not invite a woman to sleep with you; you have to show her that you are really interested and can't leave without her. It's not a good idea to beat around the bush and try tricking the woman to sleep with you. Cheesy pickup lines will send you home to an empty bed every time.

A real player is honest and straightforward without being rude. By lying everything out for full view allows you to lure her in successfully. The thrill of the hunt comes from letting women know exactly what you want; how hard the woman plays will determine how hard he has to hunt. The use of seduction is a technique that can be used to get just about any woman into bed with you. The results of seduction are much more effective than any pickup line or beating around bushes. Follow these tips:

* Physical attraction is very well needed. Be clean cut, fresh and well dressed.

* Appear harmless. When a woman sees you are friendly and not attacking her, she will let her guard down, which will be easier for you to penetrate the fortress.

* Be charming. This is done by showing her that you are genuinely interested in her and only her.

* Be intellectual. Engage in important conversations about politics or current affairs. By showing your intellect will make her value you and your opinion more.

* Seduce her emotionally. Women are emotional creatures. Give her a warm and fuzzy feeling. Show her spontaneity and excitement; that rush will addict her to you.

* Show chivalry isn't dead. Women like to be treated like their special, so show the princess you can be a prince.

* Essence. By having it means mixing all of the tips together. This will turn you into an irresistible seduction machine. You must be genuine or women will reject you for being fake or trying too hard.

After you seduce the woman you're after you will need to keep her interested by:

* Make her feel beautiful. Score major points by making her feel like the most beautiful woman that has ever entered the earth, let alone your life.

* Put her pleasures first. Don't show her that you are only interested in satisfying your own needs; cater to hers as well.

* Provide her with lots of pleasure. Giving her all the pleasure she needs will encourage her to return the favor.
* Deliver orgasms. Explore her body to see how you can do so; even if it means going downtown.

Beautiful Contact Lenses For Your Beautiful Eyes

Are you one of those who are about to endeavor in the world of putting contact lenses? Large numbers of people in need of curative lenses prefer to put on contact lenses because of the ease and a repugnance to looking terrible with the specs. The glasses burden on the ears, slide down from nose, and also have glare troubles with light. In addition, you should have special lenses and also an additional pair to stay away from the sharp sunrays when wearing spectacles. Contact lenses are very comfortable and easy to put to replace the conventional glasses by endowing excellent peripheral vision without forfeiting on the part of the outlook on appearance.

Many individuals will not be able to recognize even that you are actually wearing contact lenses, as they are virtually impossible to notice in your eyes. However, there are different types of contact lenses that are available in the market. Thus, you should always select a contact lens which will best suit your condition such as line of work, kind of vision disorder and many more. Among the various types of contact lenses the contact lenses can be either soft or hard.

Soft Contact Lenses

Soft contact lenses are basically manufactured by a plastic hydro gel polymer, which consists of 35% to 75% of water. These contact lenses are produced from soft plastic and are absolutely water absorbing by nature, which fix at the face of cornea. However, few contact lenses also provide protection from the ultraviolet rays.

The greatest advantage of wearing soft lenses is that, these lenses are generally disposable that means after using they can be disposed, depending on the kind of contact lens is prescribed. This offers a chance to the contact lens user to get a new pair of contact lenses, which further reduces the chance of having any kind of eye infection and also providing ample comfort to the wearers.

Nevertheless, the size of soft contact lens can vary from 13 to 14.50 mm and 100 um thick. These lenses also enable the oxygen comfortably to reach the cornea. Apart, it also has some drawbacks such as they quickly absorbs various pollutants such as lotion or soap from the hands, which further results in irritation in eyes. Furthermore, they can even tear or rip quite easily.

Hard contact lenses

The hard contact lenses are commonly manufactured with a rigid stuff. However, to boost the oxygen permeability, this stuff can be blend with various other plastics. These lenses are available under the range 8 to 18 mm with thickness of 100um.

The hard contact lenses are very durable but like the soft contact lenses do not provide oxygen that can reach the cornea. Nevertheless oxygen gets dissolved with the tear which in some way reaches the cornea due to eye movements because of the frequent blinking of eye. Despite of their low cost and durability these contact lenses are quite uncomfortable to put and are used by very number of people.

However, it will be feasible to contact your eye specialist before selecting any kind of contact lenses, as he/she will guide you in a better way according to your eye and requirement.

Travel Checklist And Travel Tips

Preparing for a trip or vacation
Traveling broadens our perspective of the world in which we live. Going to foreign countries provides exposure to different cultures, different food, and different languages. Many countries encourage international tourism as a way of boosting their local or national economies, but there are some countries and cultures which view foreigners with suspicion and do not particularly care for strangers in their land. Even in some popular "civilized" travel destinations it is easy to become a victim of thiefs and criminals who will take your luggage, assault you to steal your jewelry and valuables, or cheat you in the price of taxi fares or other services. Your best protection is to be alert, book your tours through trustworthy agencies, and never travel alone to an unfamiliar destination. Make sure that you know the traditions of the land where you want to travel before you start your trip.

Planning a trip can be exciting, as long as you take the necessary precautions. Travel advice will help you decide what you need to bring with you, like travel clothing and supplies. Contact your travel agent if you have any questions during your trip preparation.

Travel arrangements
Scheduling your trip involves careful planning. Travel agents can help you to organize some of your preparations. First of all, take care of your travel documents. Some countries require only passports, but others require passports and visas. Do not wait until the last minute to obtain your passport because this may require several weeks. To get the best deals for your transportation and hotel accommodations, you will need to make your reservations well in advance of your travel. The best bargains can be obtained during the off-season when demand has diminished. Airlines that provide food service can accommodate special dietary requirements if you give them at least 24 hours advance notice.

Along with your passports and visas, you may need to take along vaccination certificates, and prescriptions for any special medicines that you need. Before embarking on a trip, check to make sure that you are allowed to travel with your medicines. Some medicines sold over the counter in the United States may be considered illegal in other countries and vice versa. There is nothing more unpleasant than starting a vacation on the wrong foot by having to explain to the customs authorities why you are carrying so many "drugs".

As a result of terrorist activities, airports have increased their security inspections before allowing passengers to board. Get to the airport with plenty of time to manage the check-in congestion. Also, don't exceed the container size limits of carry-on liquids, gels, and aerosols, otherwise, your toiletries will be confiscated. All liquids, gels and aerosols must be in three-ounce (84 milliliters) or smaller containers, and they must be placed in a single, quart-size, zip-top, clear plastic bag.

First Timer Tips
So you're about to finally make that first step into the weird and wonderful world? Good for you - you won't regret it! There are a few things you should know before you leave to help you on your way. While on the road we recommend you follow your gut-instinct, but some things are worth knowing about before you leave...

TRAVEL LIGHT!
Don't pack what you don't need, especially if you're backpacking. There is nothing worse than lugging around a pile of bricks on your back when arriving in a new city and trying to find a place to stay. Just remember, if you need something, you'll be able to buy it on the road. It is easier to travel with a pack than with a suitcase - suitcases don't like crowded streets, rocky roads or stairs (and subways have a lot of them)!

AVOID JETLAG & AIR SICKNESS
Flying internationally causes jetlag because of the fact that you are crossing three time zones. Some precautions to take include:

a) drinking plenty of water and no alcohol intake;
b) sticking with a bland diet;
c) adjusting your watch according to your destination's time clock and attempt to adhere to your arrival schedule - the sooner, the better.
d) take some sleeping pills on that long flight over, sleep is golden and you'll be thankful for it when you arrive

DON'T DRAW UNWANTED ATTENTION TO YOURSELF
When travelling in some countries, it is best to leave your jewellery at home - the richer you look, the more of a target you'll become for pick-pocketers. You also might want to take one 'nice' outfit in your backpack to blend in with the locals. Wear shorts and hiking boots in cities such as Venice and you stand out like a sore-thumb. And don't forget to spend some time away from the tourist traps - immerse yourself in the local way of life!

CARRY THE CORRECT FORMS OF CURRENCY
Exchange just enough money to cover your expenses for your travels. There's nothing worse than being stuck in a new country on your first day with no local currency. Make sure your ATM card can be used in the places you are visiting (you'll find a logo like the 'Cirrus' one on the back of your card) - some places in South America won't accept this so ensure you have enough cash on hand. It is safest to take a mixture of currency with you - a credit card, some cash, and perhaps some travellers cheques. This will cover your butt just in case that credit card declines or a machine won't accept your ATM card.

RESPECT THE CULTURE OF LOCAL CUSTOMS
Some countries, especially in the Middle East and Asia, dress more conservatively than we do. You shouldn't wear shorts or sleveless tops in these places, so ensure you have some other forms of clothing packed in your bag. It is also handy to have a long-sleeved top packed in your daypack - places like St Peters Cathedral in Rome require you to cover your arms when entering the building. You don't want to miss out on the opportunity to see such fabulous places just because you don't have the right top with you!

PACK A GAME OR TWO
There will be times where you will be sitting around waiting for flights, buses, places to open, etc. Ensure you pack a travel game, diary or something to occupy yourself with.

BE EDUCATED ABOUT WHERE YOU'RE GOING
Always read up on the city before you get there. It pays to know a little about the basics such as transportation, weather, do's & don'ts and an orientation of the city. Once you're there, go to a Tourist Information Centre first - that way you can get an idea of what is going on, so you don't miss out on the good stuff.

CARRY THE RIGHT THINGS WITH YOU
Always take an extra pair of clothes in your hand luggage - there's nothing worse than being in a new country, where you don't speak the language and where the airline has lost your luggage - at least you can have a clean change of clothes this way.

DON'T FORGET TO USE YOUR FAMILY CONNECTIONS
Very distant relatives are close enough when you need somewhere to sleep - and assure them you'll return the favour if they ever come down to this neck of the woods. Oh and hey - phone your Mum sometimes! - she wants to hear from you. (Thanks to Anita P for tips #8 & 9 - a $50 travel voucher is coming your way!)

In light of all these tips, just use plain common sense and intuition. Travelling should not be overwhelming or dangerous. In fact it should be one of the most rewarding and memorable experiences in your life... Enjoy!

5 Steps To Realizing Your Dreams Before Retirement

Pay attention Baby Boomers! Everybody has a dream or an unrealized goal for their life. The trouble is most of us are unwilling to make the changes necessary to turn our dreams into reality. We say “I’ll do that when the children leave home; I’ll be able to work on that when the mortgage (car, credit card...insert debt here!) is paid off; I plan on making those changes when I turn 30, (40, 50... and so on!) The trouble is, once we actually DO achieve one of these procrastinator goals, we still don’t take the time to set those changes in motion.

It is true that dreams never die, but they can wind up fading into the woodwork of our lives if they aren’t cultivated and nurtured into reality. Just as a houseplant needs to be watered and fertilized on a weekly basis, so do our dreams. By shoving our dreams into that ‘Someday’ file in our mind, we run the very real risk of having that ‘someday’ never come. We let our fears – fear of the unknown and the very real fear of change – interfere and overtake our rational thought patterns until we begin to believe that it’s virtually impossible for us to achieve ANYTHING!

We need to let go of our fears and do one simple thing – take action NOW! You will never know what you’re capable of until you take this first step and just make a decision to do something – anything – to propel you towards your dream.

Think about this for a moment – how far are you actually willing to go to have the life (and dreams) that you want and deserve? What are you willing to change in your life to put the wheels in motion to turn your hopes and aspirations into reality?

Here are some points to get your started on your journey into manifesting your dream world:

1. Ask yourself this – What do I really want to be, do, or have?

Get clear about where you're going so you can get there. Take a piece of paper and physically write down what it is that you really want to do with your life or changes you know you need to implement to get to that place. The clearer your ‘wish list’ is, the better you’ll be able to prioritize what to do first.

2. Is this dream in keeping with my core values?

If your ideal dream goes against every one of your core values such as dignity, integrity and pride, you’ll never achieve it – plain and simple. By doing things that instinctively contradict your inner strengths, you will come across as being false and most likely self-sabotage your own efforts. Be true to yourself and it will pay off in the long run.

3. What are the action steps I need to take to achieve this dream?

If you dream is to lose 15 pounds, then you know the first step you’ll need to take is to examine your eating habits. If you’re consistently eating a large bag of potato chips and washing it down with a 24 ounce bottle of soda, then you know those foods are going to have to go - or at least be cut down to a more moderate portion size in order to lose weight. Make your steps practical so that you don’t perceive them as ‘chores’ because no one likes to take on things they absolutely detest doing!

4. Chose a realistic ‘finish’ date.

Using the analogy of losing weight and those extra 15 pounds, if you expect to lose them in two weeks, you’re going to have to literally starve yourself! You didn’t gain those unwanted pounds in 14 days, so why would you reasonably expect to lose them in the same amount of time? Setting a finish date is necessary as it gives you something to work towards, but keep it real folks, or once you reach that date and you’ve not achieved your goal, you’ll most likely throw your hands up in the air and quit.

5. How will I feel when I achieve this dream?

By concentrating on the end result as if you’ve already achieved it, you’re sending our positive vibrations into the universe which will help you in your quest to manifesting your dreams. In your mind, picture your life as it will be once you’ve obtained your desires. Imagine it, feel it, taste and/or smell the success. By believing you’re already at the finish line, getting there will be much easier.

So go ahead. Dream your dreams and reach for the stars. Your ideal life is waiting for you. You just need to take the first step towards getting it. (The article was submitted by Cookie Tuminello).

Blogging has become a popular communication tool on the internet because it is a great way to express yourself AND promote a home business. They are not difficult to set up and are very easy to maintain. If you have been giving some thought to creating a blog, these tips can help.

What is a blog? Basically, it is a personal journal on the internet. Blogs provide the opportunity to talk about interests, likes, dislikes or any information that you want to share in cyberspace. In addition, they have templates, advice and a wealth of information to help you get up and running in less than an hour. Already have a website? Check with your host provider and see if they have the software and support to get you going. If not, do a search in Google for starting a blog. You will find a wealth of resources, tools, information and advice to get started.

For the online business owner, blogs have become a very effective marketing tool. This is why business blogs are placed on most internet store owner’s web sites. It provides an opportunity for developing online sales while advertising your services or products within the blog. The author of the blog will provide insights and information about a product or service with the goal of making the reader aware of their company.

If you are new to internet advertising and want to add a marketing tool to the arsenal, a website blog is the direction to go. You will attract the target audience that is needed to make sales by giving tips, ideas, pointers and information about a product or service. It becomes a win-win situation. The reader receives information to help them make an informed decision and you can collect a customer because they will perceive you as a valuable resource.

Consider these 5 ideas when you are developing your own blog:

1. Focus On Your Audience

Try to understand the thinking of your readers and write articles (blogs) that would appeal to them. Do not hard sell your business in the discussion. Give your audience something they need. Provide information that will improve their lives or furnish insights about the product you sell. At the end of the blog, add an About The Author box where your home business or service is mentioned.

2. Who Are You?

The internet is a very impersonal place so you need to make a connection with your visitors. Why not provide a picture of yourself so the readers will have a face that goes with the words? If you are uncomfortable about a picture, add a personal touch with a photograph of a pet or something you enjoy. Your audience will be more relaxed with the human component.

3. Be Professional

Your blog is representing a home business so be sure that it looks and sounds professional. Personal blogs provide a forum for people to express themselves. A business blog is a tool that is used to convince readers that you are a reputable company. The articles need to convince the audience that you are a resource and an authority. Remember to spell and grammar check your essays. In addition, design your blog web pages so that they are appealing to the visitors.

4. Keep It Simple

Do not write your blogs with language that is technical and confusing. Readers will leave if they do not understand what you are trying to say. Keep your articles brief and to the point. Most web surfers are impatient so avoid lengthy blogs. Remember, people on the internet scan more than they scrutinize. Give them good information supported with two or three short paragraphs and provide an About The Author box at the end. Your blog should be written in 30 minutes or less.

5. Provide Feedback

Try and make your blog interactive by placing video or audio clips on the blog pages. If this option is not possible, provide an area where your visitors can share their feedback, insights or opinions about your article. The more a visitor interacts with your home business website, the better the chance of creating a customer.

Blogs are fun and entertaining. They give one an opportunity for creativity and expression. And they are popular. Blogging provides a tool for the internet business owner to market their product and service by developing a relationship with the readers. These five ideas can help your blog get started on the right foot.

Not just cool

Bright sunlight during the hot season increases the risk of cataracts, so health professionals recommend good quality sunglasses. Someone says prolonged exposure to sunlight causes severe sunburn as well as cataracts, which damage eyesight.

Cataracts develop for a variety of reasons, including longterm exposure to ultraviolet light and radiation and the secondary effects of diabetes, hypertension and ageing. Many people over 60 cataracts, and the vast majority can be treated sucessfully.

Ultraviolet light is good if absorbed in appropriate proportion. Ultraviolet rays help the body to release vitamin D, and this prevents cartilage problems and osteoporosis.

The most common symptoms of cataracts are cloudy or blurred vision, the faded appearance of colours and lights appearing too bright. Poor vision at night and the appearance of halos around lights are other symptoms. Surfferers often see double in one eye. Frequent prescription changes to spectacles are required.

To prevent cataracts, health experts recommend good quality sunglasses when outside. If you suffer from abnormal vision, visit and eye doctor immediately.

In addition, a good diet helps prevent cataracts. The most effective treatment for cataracts is an operation to remove the cloudy lens.

Nanofood set to stir next big debate

How do you fancy tucking into a bowl of ice cream that has no more fat than as carrot? Or eating a burger that will lower your cholesterol? If you are allergic to peanuts, perhaps you'd like to fix your food so that any nut traces pass harmlessly through your body.

Welcome to the world of nanofoods, where almost anything is possible: where food can be manipulated at an atomic or molecular level to taste as delicious as you want, do you as much god as you want, and stay fresh for....well, who know? a world where smart pesticides are harmless until they reach the stomachs of destrutive insects, where food-manufacturers promise an end to starvation, where smart packaging sniffs out and destroys the micro-organisms that make good food go bad, in short a food heaven to those who see it spelling the end of obesity and poor diet, food hell to those who believe the case for nanofood safety is still far from proven. One thing is certain: after the controversy that surrounded genetically modified foods, nano is set to become next kitchen batleground.

Whether nanoengineered foodstuffs land on our tables will, to a large content, depend on consumers. If it proves as controversial as GM to many food buyers and environments, then marketing it could be difficult, something of which the industry is well aware. We have to explain to consumers that good side of nanotechnology and what benefits it can bring them.

Talk about Yogo

Yoga is a type of practive which you can used like a sport. Can yoga really treat what ails you?

In the part the yogo was a new trend in the minds of money, a novelty destined have it's rise then as all trends do, and inevitable fall. During those days, articles would always begin with simple yet vague definition of yoga, with the angle that it would help you get lean and sexy. I usually protested, since losing weight was always more of a problem then a challenge and I'm drawn to practice for it's mystical side more than anything else.

For me, yoga is a lot about the way I live. Simply getting on the mat and doing a physical practice of yoga is one of the best things you or I can do for our body.

Once you learn some of the basis of youga, you too can continue to practice by yourself at your own schedule. A short 15 to 20 minutes a day, six days a week and in a week or two, you'll feel better than you have in years.

Get dressing-Pha Khao Ma

One thing a lot of compers bring along on an excursion in the ever-versatile Pha Khao Ma, a type of sarong traditional worn by Thai men. This narrow length of fabric can serve several purposes : as a substitute for a hat during the day, for example; or a bathing suit in the evening; or when dried out, as a blanket. It can be put to numereous other uses, too. Be inventive ! How about as a makeshift bowl, for instance?

Normally, most trekkers just bathe in a stream. But for those times when it's getting dark and you don't wat to venture into deep water on your own, a pha khao ma allows you to wash without runing any risks.

Simply hold one end and dangle the other in the stream. Let the cloth absorb water for a few seconds and then pull it up.

Writing it out and you'll find that your sarong can hold almost as much water as a bowl. Drop it into the stream again when you need more water, and enjoy your shower/sponge bath. If you don't have a pha khao ma, a T-shirt or anything made of lightweight cloth that's not too difficult to squeeze out will do just as well.
